The main functions of Ghana Trade House include strengthening cooperation between both countries even with the vast potential opportunities for further collaboration. Promoting inter-county trade in Africa there by building up stronger economic ties. Promoting made in Ghana goods through Ghana Export Promotion Authority.
Bilateral relations between Kenya and Ghana will continue to grow with such anniversaries taking place. This event also brings us closer to single market agenda of African countries.
There are past achievements in the past one year. Established in Kenya in 2023, it has served as an outlet for quality made in Ghana goods. The goods have been effectively marketed in Kenya and beyond the borders by the hard working staff, with a disclaimer that all the staff of Ghana Trade House are Kenyans. It has enabled Ghana businesses in Kenya to get a foothold of the Kenyan market. They supply their products to the trade house for easier access by Kenyan consumers and others across the borders.
The strategic location of the trade house is for showcasing the quality and uniqueness of Ghana products. It is also for reinforcing the strong economic bonds between Kenya and Ghana. Kenya is also taking bold steps into the Ghana market with Kenyan tea.
As we mark one year anniversary in Kenya, we look forward to the future of trade between Kenya and Ghana as full of hope and a brighter future.
