Plea For Justice and Compensation for 1998 Nairobi Bomb Blast Victims

Plea for justice for 1998 bomb blast victims. We are urging both the Kenyan President as weyas the incoming American President to fulfill compensation that has been pursued for 26 years. With time passing by, some victims have passed away and their children currently suffering with issues of unpaid school fees. Countless families are currently suffering as a result of no action taken. This issue is beyond monetary compensation, the real issue is acknowledging the pain.

We demand that the Kenyan President addresses the issue of compensation, immediate Presidential action by tomorrow, Jamhuri Day celebration. We also demand judicial accountability over missing court documents.  This was highlighted in a case presided over by Hon. Justice Mugambi. We also need support of Parliamentary Committee which has stalled. We can't wait another one year for what is duly ours so that way our dignity can be restored.

We speak against systematic neglect. An example is the story of Victor, the son of a civil servant who perished in the blast. Now as a University student he is unable to complete due to unpaid fees. Despite writing to several offices, including Ministry of Education, there has no help so far. Victor's plight represents countless families suffering the devastating consequences of this blast.
