The Acting CEO of the Affordable

Housing Board, Ms. Sheila Waweru,

has urged Kenyans to participate in the

Affordable Housing Program

homeownership journey.

During an exclusive interview, Waweru

stated that the Affordable Housing

Programme offersunits at friendly and

affordable prices, which are below the

market rates in the region.

" I would like to call on Kenyans to take

part in this transformative project that’s

set to improvetheir livelihoods by

offering quality and decent homes. We

have several projects of different

typologies across various counties and

are working towards ensuring that

these units areavailable to all

Kenyans. The prices are affordable

and below market rates," added

Waweru.

The government aims to construct 200 ,

000 houses annually to cater to

housing needs forKenyans across all

income levels.

(KEHPHPU) The Kenya Environmental Health and Public Health Practitioners Union has issued an urgent appeal to President William Ruto’s administration to prioritize preventive and promotive healthcare through increased investment and strategic reforms.
