IYF welcomes 20,000 youths for season 8 Orientation at the IYF Academy 

The IYF Weekend Free Academy offers technical skills apart from theory e.g media studies under GBS TV station do practical use of cameras apart from studying theory. 

IYF founder is from South Korea and has lived in Kenya for 17 years having arrived inti the country in 2008. IYF has been working with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Creative Economy ever since. They even thanked the ministry for the opportunity to partner with them. 

IYF Free Weekend Academy offers 31skill-based courses such as plumbing, hairdressing, catering, computer packages and fashion. Since it's inception in 2007, the IYF Free Weekend Academy has trained disadvantaged youth and certied over 60,000 graduates, many of whom have gone on to establish businesses and secure employment.

These programs cater to young people, particularly Form 4 graduates.The academy operates on a three-monthweekend-based model,allowing students to gain practicalskills while balancing other responsibilities.

Beyond skill training, IYF integrates mind set education and character development, fostering confidence, discipline, and leadership in young people.Thetop-performing students also receive scholarships to further their education in partnership with Mahanaim College, a sister organization.
