Nigeria celebrity has made it to Kenya to come and meet local people. Mawaida Records in Kenya have teamed up with PG Records from Nigeria. PG Records is also looking at the possibility to do collaborations in other countries.  Guchi has come into the country to connect with fans and to show the love that fans have showed her on social media. Guchi social media handles are well followed in Kenya with encouraging subscriptions. She last visited Kenya three years ago in 2012. Even though back then her experience wasn't so good, this time she is looking forward to a wonderful experience. Her aim is to visit the coast and experience the beaches in Mombasa and Diani. Also to experience matatu rides and the wonderful Kenyan cuisine.

IYF welcomes 20,000 youths for season 8 Orientation at the IYF Academy  The IYF Weekend Free Academy offers technical skills apart from theory e.g media studies under GBS TV station do practical use of cameras apart from studying theory.  IYF founder is from South Korea and has lived in Kenya for 17 years having arrived inti the country in 2008. IYF has been working with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Creative Economy ever since. They even thanked the ministry for the opportunity to partner with them.  IYF Free Weekend Academy offers 31skill-based courses such as plumbing, hairdressing, catering, computer packages and fashion. Since it's inception in 2007, the IYF Free Weekend Academy has trained disadvantaged youth and certied over 60,000 graduates, many of whom have gone on to establish businesses and secure employment. SIL is a global faith based non profit organization that helps local language communities overcome the barriers that prevent them from flourishing with their languages. The International Mother Language Day was started by UNESCO and later adopted by UN General Assembly 25 years ago.
